MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
HELD ON TUESDAY 1 JUNE 2010
AT THE WHITE HOUSE
STARTING AT 7.30PM

Present: Councillors: P. Adams, J. Wilkes, K. Baker, D. Cotton, R. Turville, I. Higgs

Also Present: R. Young, Clerk to the Council

1) ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN
It was proposed, seconded and agreed that Councillor P. Adams be appointed Chairman. Councillor P. Adams signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

2) ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN
It was proposed, seconded and agreed that Councillor K. Baker be appointed Vice-Chairman. Councillor Baker signed a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

3) APOLOGIES
No Apologies

4) MINUTES
The minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 19 May 2009 were approved as a correct record.

5) PLANNING
It was agreed the following Councillors should form this Committee:
I. Higgs
K. Baker
D. Cotton
J. Wilkes

6) REPRESENTATIVES TO OUTSIDE BODIES
The following appointments were agreed:
a) Slitting Mill Village Hall – D. Cotton
b) Etching Hill Village Hall – D. Cotton & J. Wilkes
c) Chetwynd Charity – P. Adams
d) Etching Hill Charity – P. Adams & J. Wilkes
e) Allotments Association – P. Adams
f) Longdon Cotton Almshouses – K. Baker
g) Cannock Chase Parish Councils Association – K. Baker
h) SPCA – K. Baker

7) PUBLIC SESSION
No matters were discussed.
